Carleen
has thirty years of experience as a Senior Human Resource
Professional. She is a published author and professional
speaker who specializes in creating Human Resource Infrastructures
to include the construction of Classification Structures,
Employee Surveys, Position Descriptions, Policies, Procedures
and Handbooks. Carleen has an extensive background in
Human Resources that includes both Employee and Labor
Relations. Carleen has been the chief negotiator for
unionized organizations such as Beatrice Foods and British
Petroleum. She has functioned as a facilitator for non-union
participative or quality of life work life facilities.
Her experience includes Start-up, Liquidation, Downsizing,
and Reorganization, Get well and Acquisition/Merger
projects. Carleen is well versed in all areas of her
field, i.e. Affirmative Action, Compensation, Communication,
Employment Law, Equal Employment Opportunity, Job Analysis,
Recruitment/Selection, organizational Behavior, Training,
etc. She is the recipient of two three Star Awards for
excellence sponsored by the Georgia State University
in cooperation with the International Loss Control Institute.

has served as a faculty member at several colleges including,
Baker, Lansing Community and Washtenaw. She is an instructor
for the American Society of Employers.
Education
Carleen
Nelson-Nesvig is certified through the Society of Human
Resource Management as a "Life-time" senior Professional
in Human resource Management and Employment Law through
the Institute for Applied Management and Law. She is
degreed in Human Resource Management as well as Journalism.
Carleen
is very active in both the Society of Human resource
management and the Human Resource Management Association
of Mid-Michigan where she has performed as Membership
chair, Vice President, President, Past President and
State Conference Chair. She is a member of numerous
Chambers throughout Michigan where she provides Human
Resource Management related guidance and support.
